Will scanned PDFs convert correctly?
Not reliably — this tool doesn’t perform OCR, so scanned or image-only PDFs may convert with missing or garbled data. It works best on PDFs that already contain real, selectable text.
Will it detect my tables correctly?
It works best when your PDF has clear table structure. Pages that are mostly prose text, or have unusual or merged layouts, may not split into clean rows and columns — always review the output.
Will formulas be preserved?
No — a PDF only contains the calculated values shown on the page, not the original formulas, so the spreadsheet will contain static values you can build new formulas from.
Are my documents stored anywhere?
On our side, never — your file is processed in memory and discarded immediately. Adobe PDF Services processes the file in their cloud to perform the conversion and does not store it long-term.
